Still a regular driver for the Haas team in 2022, Mick Schumacher will also have to assume the role of reserve driver for Ferrari. If he wants to focus on his season with the American team, the son of Michael Schumacher does not close the door to a future in red:

I will be happy to drive a Ferrari one day, but for now I am focused on Haas. However, if Ferrari needs my help, I am ready.

However, the German first wants to progress within his team before planning for the future:

My goal is to progress with Haas and then see what the future holds. If I’m successful here, then maybe everything can go my way next year.

If Mick Schumacher dreams of Ferrari, not sure if this is the case for the Scuderia for the moment. If everything can go very quickly in one season, the Leclerc-Sainz duo seems irremovable at the dawn of the 2022 season. There is also a possibility for the Scuderia to use its influence to place its driver with Alfa Romeo. If so, it would likely be in place of Zhou since Bottas has signed a contract for several seasons.

In short

Mick Schumacher, reserve driver for Ferrari, says he is ready if necessary to join the Scuderia. The German wants to be patient all the same and is concentrating on his coming season with Haas where progress is his goal.
