The second generation of the Lancia Ypsilon celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2021. Restyled for the occasion, the city car is at the time of writing the only model in the catalog of the Italian manufacturer, now a member of the Stellantis group. All the more reason for Lancia to offer a new special series of this Ypsilon, produced in collaboration with the Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti.

For the occasion, the car manufacturer and the designer have created a specific body color, called Gray Alberta Ferretti. “Its iridescent color brings out the pink reflections of the bodywork, emphasizing the feminine beauty of the lines of the Ypsilon,” explains Lancia in a press release. The Turin firm recalls that gray is the color “historically used by Alberta Ferretti to express elegance in all its forms”. The special series named after the designer is also available in the colors Snow White, Metallic Stone Grey, Vulcano Black and Bicolor Black. It sports a badge with Alberta Ferretti’s initials on its wings. A satin chrome effect has been applied to the mirror caps, grille and door handles.

On board the Lancia Ypsilon configured with this special series, future buyers will be able to discover a passenger compartment sporting Rose Gold stitching on the seats, as well as an AF monogram on the headrests. The fabric of the seats is made of Seaqual recycled polyester. Rose Gold inserts are inserted on the steering wheel, air vents, gear lever, door handles or even the dashboard.

The Lancia Ypsilon Alberta Ferretti is offered with a 70 hp 1.0 FireFly hybrid engine, combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. A 69 hp LPG 1.2 version is also available in the catalogue. The call price for this special series is set at €18,500, excluding FCA Bank offers.
