Despite a major restyling, the prices of the Citroën C5 Aircross 2022 which enters the catalog today have hardly changed, even if for the moment we have to be content with incomplete prices.
Like its little brother Citroën C3 Aircross last year, the C5 Aircross, launched in 2017 and therefore today at mid-career, has gone through the inevitable restyling box. As soon as presented, the new vintage of the Citroën family SUV opens its order book.
A range that has changed little
Visibly redesigned, the restyled C5 Aircross does not, however, change anything in its range of engines. There is always 1 petrol and 1 diesel engine, same power of 130 hp for both and same possibility of opting for an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a 225 hp plug-in hybrid option, immediately associated with the automatic gearbox.
Regarding the finishes, we note the arrival of an intermediate Feel Pack livery. But we find, for the rest, the entry-level Live, then the Feel finishes, and therefore Feel Pack, Shine and Shine Pack as well as the special C-Series series.
The C5 Aircross was known for its good price/equipment ratio, this should be the case on the 2022 model. For the moment, only two prices have been shared: the basic thermal price and that of the plug-in hybrid version. It is clear that the increase is very contained in both cases. €100 more for the C5 Aircross PureTech petrol 130 S&S BVM6 in Live finish and even €300 less for the C5 Aircross Hybrid 225 S&S EAT8 in Feel livery. This is all the more interesting as the equipment is richer than before. The entry-level Live gains rear parking assistance, a driver’s seat with lumbar adjustments and a second USB port on the center console. The Feel level adds to that a 12.3″ digital instrumentation, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, 18″ alloy wheels and a chrome exhaust, but the PHEV engine specifically benefits from the new 10″ touchscreen tablet. little to analyze the price/equipment ratio of the higher liveries, but that seems to bode well for the SUV with Chevrons.
