Zapping Auto News Green BMW iX M60 (2022): the electric and sporty SUV on video

One coupe SUV can hide another. Skoda officially unveiled its Enyaq Coupé iV on Monday January 31, 2022, the coupé version of the Enyaq iV SUV. The Czech manufacturer takes the opportunity to present the sporty version of this model, simply called Skoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV. This extended name simply designates a more powerful version of the SUV coupé, and whose battery benefits from a better capacity.

This supercharged version of the Enyaq Coupé iV is also the first 100% electric model to join the RS range. Seen from the outside, few things distinguish it from the traditional version, except for differently designed bumper scoops at the front or a red reflector over the entire width of the rear bumper. This model also features the standard Crystal Face luminous grille and 20-inch wheels. Finally, it is the only Enyaq Coupé iV that can be configured in the Mamba Green body color.

Inevitably, the engine of this Enyaq Coupé RS iV is more advanced than that of the other models presented. Its two electric motors develop a combined power of 220 kW (approximately 300 hp) for a maximum torque of 460 Nm. This power allows the SUV to bring down the 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. And its maximum speed is limited to 180 km/h, 20 km/h more than the other models in the range.

The battery with a capacity of 82 kWh (useful capacity of 77 kWh) allows you to travel 545 kilometers on a single charge according to the WLTP homologation cycle. Like all versions, recharging can be done in six to eight hours via a Skoda wallbox, while a fast terminal allows you to go from 5 to 80% “in just 29 minutes”.

Two finishes are offered exclusively to configure the interior of the sports variant of the SUV coupe.

As standard, buyers will be able to enjoy a carbon effect on the dashboard and the inside of the doors, an aluminum pedal set, and seats with integrated headrests bearing the RS logo.

The RS Lounge finish offers suedecloth seats with colored accents, as does the dashboard.

The RS Suite finish offers perforated black leather on the seats with gray accents.

Like the basic Enyaq Coupé iV, the dashboard features a 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch central touch screen, as well as electrically adjustable seats.

The price and release date of this Skoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV have not been disclosed. The sporty SUV should hit the market in 2022 and be offered at a price several thousand euros higher than the rest of the range.

In short

The first all-electric Skoda model to wear the RS badge is an SUV. Called Enyaq Coupé RS iV, it is a variant of the Enyaq Coupé iV, unveiled at the same time.
